"The Toronto Public Library - Downtown Branch offers a comfortable environment that manages to be both quiet in some areas and bustling with activity in others. I found it easy to focus when I needed to, and the internet access was reliable and efficient.

When I went inside the library I noticed how clean and quiet the place was and the staff were friendly and fast. I asked them for the TPL tote bag and within seconds I had the bag. For the $3 I paid for the bag it was worth it. I do recommend more tables close to the teen zone area so more people sit there but other than that it's a great place to read and study for exams/finals.

This library is the face of Toronto nowadays. This place is dirty, all the furniture is very old and there are a lot of homeless people here. The scanners and printers are not working. It should be a welcoming place for people who wants to learn and study. I feel terrible for all the good workers there having to deal with such a horrible and scary environment.
