  Excellent studio! We have been to other studios in the area but here the training in technique and every aspect of dance is second to none. The studio directors and teachers are amazing and time is spent with every single student to ensure they are reaching their full potential in a comfortable and fun environment.

  My daughters have been dancing with TJ's for many years. Started off in the recreational program back when they were little ones, and then after a break to explore other interests, came back to the competitive program 3 years ago. I admit, I was nervous at first because they had not danced in a few years, and in the dance world were entering the competitive ring "later in life". But my fears were very soon dissolved when I saw how welcomed my girls were by not only the directors, but by the entire team. When I finally got to see them dance I was blown away at how far they had come in a short period of time. This studio believes in your child, and teaches them PROPER technique. They care about each kid, and the "Dance moms" are supportive of everyone. I know without a doubt anyone of them would help my child if I was not around. My oldest daughter went from a timid, shy, preteen, lacking confidence, to an amazingly confident, respectful teen.. and I do credit alot of that to the instruction and discipline of her dance, the studio and this team.

  The training she is receiving is superior. She is not just learning a routine, she is learning about expression, emotion, technique and it shows every time she takes to the dance floor. It is not just the students that take classes. The teachers are bettering themselves as well. They bring their new knowledge to our kids. Through this studio, my daughter has had incredible opportunities dancing with some of the industries biggest dance stars (So You Think You Can Dance USA, and Canada, The Next Step, Blake McGrath, etc...).If your child wants a future in dance or any of the arts, you bring them to TJ's. TJ's is a smaller studio and the kids and parents are treated like family. I am proud to say where my daughter dances. TJ's Dance Troop. (I have had my daughters dance at other local studios over many years, and this studio is hands down the best at teaching the ART of dance)

  My daughter started dancing competitively with Tj's at 9 years old. She is now 16. We have recently moved over an hour away but are still making the commitment to continue with Tj's, this is how much we love the studio. Trisha and Brittany care about the students progress and train them to help each student meet their personal goals and potential. The support they show each and every student shows the commitment they have to their kids and their passion for teaching. The friendships that my daughter has made will be life long and they are like family. The students support each other and respect one another and you see this in every dance they perform. It's beautiful to see and an honor to be part of this amazing studio.

  We had the privilege of dancing at Total Danceworx for a few years first in the recreational program and then joining the part time competitive program. This was our first experience in the competitive program and I have to highlight the clear communications and expectations from staff. I found costs to be very reasonable and the competitions carefully selected. The real magic is how Brittany, Ben and Meghan and the TDX staff have built a home in dance for their dancers. My daughters felt comfortable to build their skills, make mistakes and accept correction. In this program both of my daughters shine and carried that confidence with them to other areas of their life. All program involvement with children have an opportunity to significantly impact a Childs life and TDX has done just that for my kids in a positive way. Within the competitive team my daughters made friends and celebrated successes together. To have a program that truly looks at the whole child/dancer experience has raised the bar for us in programming going further. The skills my daughters developed in both dance and a myriad of other areas is attributed to the environment carefully crafted by TDX. Not to mention the incredible choreography. I couldn't recommend them enough.
