The best japanese cheese cakes ever. They have a very spacious work environment, so clean and organized. It's an open kitchen concept and you see how much goes into making their delicious desserts. Don't sleep on the tarts and ice cream. So good.

I had heard good things about uncle tetsu and couldn’t wait to try it. I got a cheesecake and crème brulet tarts. The cheesecake was light and fluffy and tasted delicious, the tarts were crunchy and flavourful. I was so impressed with how good it was, I raved about it to anyone who would listen. Shout out to the polite and friendly counter staff. See you next time.

When we first walked into the store, it smelled amazing! We decided on getting the original cheesecake. Some flavours, such as matcha, are only available on specific days of the week. Quick service despite a bit of a line. Once we got home, we noticed that they had given us a free tart in a separate bag marked ‘gift’, which was very sweet! ☺️ The cheesecake was soft, creamy, airy and not too sweet. The tarts had a sweet filling on the bottom. We had it with warm indian chai, went well together and very filling. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a lighter, not too sweet cheesecake!

This review is intended strictly for the tarts- we had the salted caramel mochi cheese tart and it was phenomenal… we ordered the fluffy cheesecake it tasted like flavorless fluff. If we ever go back it would be to try out the other flavors of tarts they have.

I’ve always liked Uncle Tetsu and have purchased many times, which is why this experience was especially shocking and disappointing. On January 29, I purchased a matcha madeleine from this location, and while eating it, I found a long rubber band inside the product. This raised serious concerns about food safety and hygiene. After the incident, I contacted the company through their website and also called. I was told I would receive a follow-up call, but I never heard back, and my message has not been responded to either. The lack of communication has added to my disappointment. I am sharing this review not to attack the brand, but to honestly share my experience and to highlight the importance of proper food handling and customer care. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed so that other customers do not experience the same thing.
