My Mom and I had a blast creating two beautiful fused glass bowls during a workshop over the holidays. Layne and team provided thoughtful guidance while encouraging us to explore our own creativity. Despite having no experience in this medium, we couldn't be more thrilled with the bowls that we created! Thank you Layne!

Terrific experience. Layne is great about explaining why glass acts like it does, answering questions, and suggesting how to better students' designs. Highly recommend. It's a lovely environment and - bonus - the great thing about glass is that it always looks beautiful so no matter what you make, it'll be lovely!

Went here for a glass bowl making workshop with some friends. It was such an interesting and novel experience. Had a blast and learned a lot. Love the final product as well. I would highly recommend this! (And when you’re there, make sure you check out the rubber-duck washroom.)

I had a really fun time at Verbeek Glass Studio! The vibe is super chill, Layne the instructor was fun and encouraging, and the space is full of gorgeous glass pieces that make you feel instantly creative. The workshop was easy to follow, hands-on, and honestly way more addictive than I expected — you start cutting glass and building your bowls patterns suddenly you’re convinced you’re an artist. Perfect spot for a unique date, a creative afternoon, a session with friends, a team building event or just treating yourself. Highly recommend! Thanks for a fun experience!

Our group had a wonderful experience at Verbeek Glass Studio! We had a private class were we learned safety practices when handling and working with glass, the properties of glass, and how it is fused and shaped. Using simple glass hand tools, we learned how to cut and shape glass in a safe and supportive environment where we created our individual glass bowls. The results are beautiful! Thank you so much for a great afternoon!
