Amazing, family owned, wonderful couple, and their loukoumadis are phenomenal!! Anytime we're visiting family or friends' homes, this is our go to dessert. They're a BIG hit! Everybody LOVES them and often ask if we're going to bring some 😋🤤 ❤️

Does not get better than this ! Delicious food, a lovely ambiance, and served with a friendly smile. We tried a variety of Loukoumades, Almond Snowball Cookies, and the milkshakes, and everything was delicious.

Who knew one of the best loukoumades spots in the city wasn't in Greektown? Yaya's definitely does every grandmother proud with these delightful dough balls. Stopped by the cafe and tried: - Loukoumades: Easily some of the best in the city. They were fried perfectly, not overly oily while maintaining a soft and bouncy interior. The Greek Hero had that classic honey glaze which made the quality of the loukoumades shine through, while the Choco Swirl went over-the-top with its generous drizzlling of chocolate. - Freddo Espresso: Strong iced coffee, which was a good counter to this sweet tooth heaven. Place is small but well decorated. Prices are reasonable. People there create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Yaya for a topnotch loukoumades experience.

The loukoumades are absolutely delicious but that’s not what this review is about. I wanted to share my experience with the owner and her husband. They are truly amazing people. Super friendly and welcoming making you feel right at home. The place takes me back to Greece. The conversations are authentic, the drinks are refreshing and the atmosphere is full of charm and a real sense of community. Paraskeví and Clinton make me feel like I belong there. It’s a wonderful spot to meet new friends over a cup of coffee (or a latte) and some loukoumades.
