Overall, the experience at the Richmond Hill location was decent, but I prefer the Markham location. The primary difference was the efficiency and quality of service, Markham is noticeably quicker and more attentive. During our visit to this location on a weekday (when it wasn't particularly busy), service was quite slow. It took a while for our order to be taken, and the food took even longer to arrive. That said, the food itself was still very good, the chicken and waffles remains my go-to dish.

Alchemy Coffee has a nice atmosphere with decent food overall. The coffee was good and definitely a highlight. The sausage wasn’t the best, but the eggs benedict was tasty and well done. A solid spot for breakfast or brunch.

Cute and cozy cafe where people can just relax and work if they wanted to. The food is pretty good albeit a tad more expensive, but the quality makes up for it 😌 I loved that the salad was thoroughly mixed with the dressing unlike other places where there’s only sauce at the top and then you’re left eating raw tasteless leaves! We had the peameal Benny and the chicken and waffles. We thought we would still be hungry afterwards but we were stuffed by the end and had leftovers. Can’t wait to try more!

Love this spot! Tried the salmon benny, duck benny, and the carbonara. The portions were good and the flavors felt fresh, not heavy. The lattes were smooth too. I would totally come back for brunch again.

Alchemy was a new find, they had similar options to the usual brunch restaurants with a twist on the plates that made it so fun! We got the peameal eggs benedict and it came with spinach and avocado and a very fresh house made sausage patty eggs benedict with mushrooms and salsa! The plates had fresh salad with a nice vinaigrette and the most delicious potatoes with the right amount of crisp and seasoning for any meal! Notes I will make are that if you have dietary restrictions or can only tolerate a certain level of spice, ask beforehand for an explanation of the dish you’re thinking of getting as it isn’t disclosed on the menu (they also don’t do substitutions) so if you’re picky you could get a surprise you didn’t sign up for! But if you’re adventurous I don’t think you could go wrong trying this place out! I’ll go back to try the duck benedict next time!
