  My kid attended butterfly preschool for 2 years and she enjoyed every moment of it. I love how their program incorporated the Montessori and Play-based approaches learning which allowed the kids to learn through active hands-on experience. Also it helps building their confidence, independence and social development skills. The teachers are experienced and passionate. The preschool is located at Mckay elementary so they have access to the school gym and playground. Highly recommend butterfly preschool for kids between 3-5 years old as it is a very good start for them to get prepare for their elementary years.

  All three of my kids have attended Butterfly, with my third child currently enrolled. I first enrolled my eldest at Butterfly because I heard great things about the teachers and the program from past parents. I was not disappointed. The place is clean, with lots of extra cleaning taking place since Covid began. The teachers are kind and caring and always happy to have a chat with me about my child's progress anytime I have questions or concerns. I have enrolled my kids in play based summer programs before (because Butterfly doesn't offer classes in the summer), but I noticed the most significant growth in their independence and capabilities under the progressive Montessori teaching style Butterfly offers. Highly recommend them!

  My daughter absolutely loved Butterfly preschool. Over the course of her year there, she improved in every manner I could think of in terms of cognitive, physical, intellectual and social development. Most important of all, she was so happy going to school everyday and it is very much thanks to the kind and thoughtful teachers there. I truly appreciate their progressive Montessori approach to education and felt it really helped develop my daughter's love of learning, making her experience at the school very enriched and balanced. My daughter was accepted into a highly ranked pre-K to grade 12 private school which I attribute to the excellent program at Butterfly preschool. I continue recommending this school to anyone I know with young children.

  Signed up both my kids for preschool here and extremely happy we did. Teachers are kind, patient, fun, organized, and responsive. They genuinely care about the students, the students’ successes, and fostering independence while providing support for individual needs. Great materials and activities for academic foundations. Convenient location with good outdoor space (playground, field, calm neighbourhood). Our kids looked forward to attending class every day and have built lasting friendships here. Highly recommend Butterfly Progressive Montessori Preschool.
