We recently moved from a Spanish speaking country and they helped us to navigate the transition and teach us how to teach our kid to learn English and communicate better with his friends (they even used a translator app to help my kid understand while he catch up with the language. 100% Recommended

My daughter goes here and we’ve been so impressed with how much she’s learning. It’s not just about crafts (though she brings home some beautiful ones!)—she’s developing in so many areas. From communication skills to independence, and even early literacy and numeracy, we can see her growing each day. The environment is nurturing, the staff are kind and attentive, and there’s a wonderful balance of structure and creativity. She’s always excited to go in the morning, which says it all! We’re really grateful for the care and learning opportunities provided at Duchess ELC. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a quality early learning centre in Prince George!

Amazing daycare and pre-school. Billing always on time, and snacks provided. Lots of fun outings around town (park, library, museum, police station, civic events) at no additional cost. The owners are very knowledgeable and hands-on. They were the first to identify that my son may be on the autism spectrum and created a care plan to reduce his stress while encouraging good behavior. Every step of the way, they made it about how they could help and not about how my young son needed to "perform" to be allowed at school. He has a lot of trouble with food and they provided safe opportunities for him to try new foods. He can now eat a larger variety of foods than he could when he joined. We have really enjoyed all the teachers we've had, most of which are immigrants, which has created this wonderful multicultural environment where all kinds of cultures are celebrated. The owners and staff have made pre-school a wonderful experience for us and our son. Id recommend them to anyone!

She loves the variety of activities, outings, and structured play provided by the daycare. And so much more and now she is ready for kindergarten thanks a lot.
