The sharwama dinners and combos and shish kebab are some of the best I've ever had. I go here a few times a month and my family and I love it!

I absolutely love their service! Ordered the Chicken Shish Kabob dinner. It was delicious. Highly recommend it. The rice is really delicious too. I do wish for the price it costs-it included a carbonated drink as well; but overall great food.

I am a returning customer and have never had such an awful experience. Today around 4 p.m., I ordered three shawarmas in pita to go. It wasn’t busy and there was no waiting time, so I expected the food to be fresh. Unfortunately, all three pitas were very dry and clearly not fresh. They also messed up my order — I asked for garlic sauce but received tahini instead, which no one in my family likes. The meat didn’t taste fresh either. It seemed like leftover meat from earlier in the day mixed with fresh meat. Another concern is that the entire kitchen area is covered with drywall, so customers cannot see how the food is being prepared. That makes the experience even more uncomfortable. Very disappointed with this visit.

We live in the area and have been loyal customers of Joe’s for over 15 years. We’ve ordered takeout countless times and have even used them for catering at family events. Until now, we have never had a reason to complain. On February 12th, my wife ordered takeout for a late lunch and became very sick shortly after eating it. No one else in our household ate the food later that evening, and no one else has been sick. Based on how quickly she became ill, we believe something was likely wrong with the meat in the meal. Given our long history as customers, we simply wanted to inform the restaurant of the situation. Unfortunately, when my wife called to report the issue, the response from the owner, Joe, was disappointing. There was no empathy shown, and the concern was dismissed as “everyone having a stomach bug,” with no willingness to even consider that the food may have been the cause. We made it clear that this wasn’t about a refund or credit — it was about the principle and bringing a potential issue to their attention. We even offered to return the uneaten food so it could be looked into, but that offer was rudely dismissed. After 15 years of loyalty, this level of customer service was very surprising and disappointing. As a result, we will not be ordering from Joe’s going forward.

Joy’s Hamburger is one of those places that instantly feels welcoming. The food is incredibly good — fresh, flavourful, and served in huge portions that make you happy you came hungry. The chicken shawarma and kofta plates were both packed with tender, well-seasoned meat, fluffy rice, and a fresh salad that balances everything out perfectly, The place has a cozy, home-style vibe that ,he whole experience even better. You can tell the food is made with care, and the quality is consistently great. If you love generous plates and real comfort food, this spot is a must-visit. Definitely a solid 5 stars from me, I’ll be coming back for sure.
