My experience with La Rocca has always been great. Their cakes taste delicious and fresh, the cupcakes (biscoff) and Jamocha Almond fudge cake have been my favorite so far. You can place an order in advance and your order would be ready on time. On a Sunday afternoon the store wasn’t busy at all. :)

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Isabella at La Rocca Pastry is the sweetest, kindest, and most genuinely helpful person I have ever encountered. I truly don’t know how it’s possible to be this thoughtful. The first time I called the store was to ask about a cake I had tried at a party. I didn’t know the name, I only knew it was banana based. Isabella told me they had two options and guided me to where I could find them on the website. When I couldn’t locate them, she offered without hesitation to take photos of the cakes they had available and email them to me so I could confirm before coming in. Keep in mind, the store is always busy. She absolutely went above and beyond. The second time I was there, while I was waiting for my turn, an Uber driver came in to pick up an order and was talking about how slow Uber had been and how long drivers have to wait sometimes. A minute later, a new order came in and Isabella excitedly told the driver that if she stayed nearby, she would likely receive the notification. She even said she would prepare it quickly so the driver would not have to wait long. The level of empathy and genuine happiness she showed for someone she had just met was incredible. She cared about helping that person make their living. Another time, my mom called to place an order. After the call, she texted me and said, Make sure you tip them properly, the girl on the phone was so helpful and sweet. I immediately knew she had spoken to Isabella. I truly want to congratulate the owner for hiring such an exceptional person. Isabella is a rare gem, and I wish her all the success and happiness in the world. Not only do I tell this story everywhere I go, but since then I have made sure to buy all my pastries from La Rocca and I constantly recommend it to friends. Not to mention I may have gained a little weight thanks to their incredible customer service and delicious pastries. P.S. Try their Bonoffee, highly recommended

Cute open concept kitchen dessert shop. Good varieties of sweets and cakes. Seating available for dine in. Drinks were well-priced.

Great atmosphere. Open concept kitchen so I'm confident in how they are making the desserts. Desserts look fresh. Staff was very helpful today in my selection. I chose 4 slices and 2 cupcakes. Looking forward to digging in to what I bought today. I may share them with my family. Lol

I have been a regular customer at La Rocca Creative Kitchen since they opened, and have loved their cakes for decades. In all my years visiting the store, I have never experienced a bad interaction with the staff, and am appalled to see so many complaints directed at Mark. Mark is the kindest and most thoughtful manager I have ever encountered in retail, with a heart of gold and an attention to detail. He has always gone the extra mile to ensure both orders and guests are taken care of. Even though I am frequently at La Rocca, I don't feel like I get special treatment just because my face is known: the kindness the staff at La Rocca provides is directed at EVERYONE: both to one another and to us as customers. I never felt the need to write a review before as I believe the works of art made by the chefs, and the service in the store should speak for itself as being nothing but exemplary. However, there seems to be a recent spike in reviews directing hate and prejudice towards the front end workers. Pointing out someone's appearance and ethnicity to speak ill of them online is cruel and misguided, and I encourage anyone reading these reviews to think critically about how these mean comments are written. Mark, the other front end workers, the chefs, and the owners, are a special and talented team who deserve praise and respect. I cannot thank La Rocca enough for all the joy they have brought to the lives of so many people both local to the retail stores and beyond. I am sorry your reviews are being targeted by impatient and ignorant customers who have little respect for all your team does. Please never let these reviews hinder the beautiful work you all put so much effort into maintaining. I encourage all these hateful people to rethink their choice to leave prejudiced reviews about the kindest bakery in Toronto.
