  If you are looking for a program to not only support your child in their academics but in overall growth in their brain development that can impact their attitude, thinking style, speed in completing things, comprehension and of course their grades at school etc. try Learning RX. Yes, the cost is high and I can tell you that it was so worthy every dollar for our son. My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. We tried a few tutoring programs but we knew immediately that just a rote learnining wouldn't make a long lasting changes and it's something we can do it at home too. After the first assessment at Learning RX, we knew that was what we were looking for. Shortly after we started the program, we saw a big jump in his attitude towards learning. He was motivated, willing to try over and over again and much more acceptant of what he was lacking. After 6 months, he moved into grade 5 and became all A students. School grade is not the most important thing for our family but getting A's in his report card really boosted his confidence and we highly recommend Learning RX program for any child, youth or adult who want to improve their brain functioning!

  The LearningRX program was extremely helpful for my child. We noticed the change come gradually as our child progressed through the program, saw increased confidence and changes in his approach to his studies. For us the change was subtle but noticeable, especially in his ability to focus on his tasks at hand. My child developed an excellent rapport with his teacher who was very patient while pushing our child to excel. Each session was very productive and engaging, reinforced by the computer lab exercises. From what I observed, all the teachers in the facility were dedicated and caring with their students. Khai and Jeri were always there to support our child and answer our questions. Frequent milestone checks kept us informed on our child's progress and the program was flexible to adjust quickly to changing needs.   I have been signing up for English and Math classes for my child since he was in grade 3. I could see that he put in lots of effort but the results did not show it. Him paying attention to the instructor and staying focused on homework were always a big concern for me. I was very glad to discover LearningRx in Richmond Hill. The cognitive assessment indicated that his working memory and auditory memory were very low. Hence, the target one-on-one brain training helped him a lot in those areas, and therefore his attention and processing speed have improved drastically. My child enjoyed the sessions with Emily very much. There were times when he was very tired after school, but he insisted on attending the training. He could feel the benefit of the brain training – paying attention to class and staying focused on homework, so he was motivated to go even when he was tired.   Ever since joining the training sessions at LearningRx, my son has started to feel more positive about himself, is less angry and grumpy, and is more confident. He is generally happier. Before that, he was defeated by ADHD, after seeing how he slid from being an A student to barely catching on to a passing mark. Attending these sessions helped him open up his perspectives and outlook. He started building relationships with other people, and also agreed to get back on ADHD medications. For someone who has been shutting himself out in the dark corner, these changes mean a lot.
