My 2 kids were there for 3 years and the service was excellent and exceptional, from ms suset, to bwaphna , pradeep, ms didi , jasmeen, akash and others , the treated my kids greatly and no complain whatsoever. It was emotional leaving as we have to move but would strongly recommend the centre.

Extremely Disappointed — Would Not Recommend At first, this daycare seemed like a good choice. The tour was warm and friendly — they made us feel confident and welcomed. However, it went downhill after that. After handing over a substantial, non-refundable deposit to secure our child’s spot (which, by the way, is a significant financial commitment), the communication became almost non-existent. Emails? Ignored. Multiple follow-ups? Still no response. The only way to get any kind of update or answer was to call them directly — and even then, we felt brushed off, met with a dismissive attitude, and given vague replies. “We were busy” is an excuse that simply doesn’t make sense to a family trying to plan childcare arrangements in advance. It genuinely felt like we were chasing them down just to be acknowledged. For a place entrusted with children’s care, the lack of basic communication is unacceptable. Given this experience, I made the decision to withdraw my child’s application — even though it meant losing a large sum of deposited money. At the end of the day, I simply cannot trust a center that goes silent during the already-paid enrollment process. I don’t usually write reviews, but families deserve to know what they might be walking into. As a working family, so many of our decisions revolve around reliable childcare — and timely responses to critical questions play a huge role in our daily lives. Good communication should be standard. Transparency and respect should be the bare minimum in any childcare environment. That was not our experience here.

Our daughter has been at LFBD since she was 10 months old (she is now 2 years old) and we have been beyond happy with the care she has received throughout her time here. All of the teachers are so caring and thoughtful and you can tell that they truly want the best for every single child in their care. We also appreciated receiving updates throughout the day on everything our daughter was doing through the app - every diaper change, meal and fun activity was noted and it was so great being kept up to date. Our daughter always comes home so happy everyday that she that she has been in your care and we can't thank you enough for all that you do. We would recommend this center for anyone looking for childcare. Thank you again LFBD!

We cannot say enough amazing things about LFBD. Our daughter attended for just under a year, starting in the Infant class and then moving into Toddler. The only reason she is now starting at a new daycare is because we moved to a different city, and the drive is long for us. From the day we brought our daughter for her first visit, we felt so at ease and comforted knowing she would be cared for by such calm, patient, supportive, and loving teachers. And throughout her time there, we knew she really was so loved. Every single teacher at LFBD is incredibly kind, compassionate, and loving, and it was obvious how at home our daughter felt there. She was so excited to see her friends and teachers everyday, and when she saw teachers from her previous class, she would be so happy to see them too. She hit many milestones at LFBD, and learned so much in her time here. All her teachers have made a lasting impression on her and on us. LFBD is truly such a special place. We are sad that our daughter won’t be finishing daycare and preschool there and will miss our LFBD family very much. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the supervisor and teachers for making it such a warm, loving, and happy place to learn. We will not forget how well you cared for and loved our daughter. We are excited to bring B back to visit and to keep in touch.

LITTLE FEET, BIG NIGHTMARE! Edited to add: despite their ChatGPT response below, I did reach out to speak to them as they mentioned - but their word isn’t true , I was dismissed and had to follow up with them again for a response. The daycare should know that reduced ratios are NEVER permitted during outdoor play periods, regardless of the age of the children, which is part of the Ontario Child Care Licensing Manual for all daycares to follow. So although there is a big yard to play in, they will be unsupervised if they wander. It is even MORE concerning that this place is defending reduced ratios when it is not permitted at all. Neither the director nor supervisor (Kamaljot Kaur) contacted me AT ALL directly through this process, despite the supervisor saying the director is very aware and involved. Please choose a daycare where the SUPERVISOR and DIRECTOR is responsive and INVOLVED. You got a sense that their bottom line is most important here - not quality care or interest in you or your child. I am disappointed with our experience at this daycare and ultimately chose not to send my child here. From the beginning, communication was lacking. After paying the 8-week deposit (which is more than the usual 4 week deposit or withdrawal notice of all other daycares), there was no follow-up or clear guidance. We even followed up to ensure our e transfer deposit was received. Their “orientation” was not warm nor welcoming, what to bring were directed back to the handbook, and allergy concerns were met with “fill in the forms”. Things “explained” to us meant asking “is it anaphylaxis or no? Fill in these forms here (literally standing in their yard with a clipboard), you know what to bring yah? In the handbook”. We did not sense any genuine interest while we were there. While policies are important, we felt everyone who worked there didn’t actually want to be there either. We chalked this up as miscommunication (we hoped), and I went to “visitation” the next day. During my 2 hour visitation, it was unfortunately the same feeling. It felt unwelcoming and I also observed several concerning things. Ratios were NOT followed — one teacher was left with eight toddlers, and in the infant yard, teachers were clearly doing their best but could not safely attend to all of the children. At one point, while one baby cried, another was eating chalk and another was trying to eat rocks. Couple of babies had unwiped snot while sitting there. In the infant room, the change table was not clean and covered in urine (I even commented, why is it all wet?), the children napped in bouncers (not the cribs that you’re shown), and overall the environment did not feel safe or well-maintained. The room is big but not all the babies can be attended to. The teachers themselves seemed to be working hard under difficult conditions, but they did not appear to be in a supportive environment either. My baby did also get a bruised eye (I understand this was out of teacher control, an older child threw a toy and it hit my child), but there is no speaking to the other child to please be gentle, as they simply do not have capacity to. Meals are catered rather than prepared in-house, which may not be a concern for everyone. In the end, I lost my deposit (non-refundable as per policy was again factually emphasized when you paid), but given the lack of warmth, poor communication, and safety concerns, I could not feel comfortable leaving my child here. I agree with the prior google reviews that mention a similar experience — unfortunately, ours was the same.
