Price is on the high end for a normal restaurant, yet food is ok in terms of taste , but the steak I ordered was medium rare ended up fully cooked

This place is a go to whenever it’s late at night or early morning and I want some quality food. The menu selection is vast and the staff working there are amazing. I’ve had the burgers, chicken fingers, chicken Alfredo pasta, steak sandwich, baklava ice cream and they’re delicious. 24hrs open too which is super convenient!

Today we went to Markham station and had the chicken souvlaki. The quality of the Greek food was excellent. What made it even better, especially on this cold winter day, was the warm atmosphere and Sandra’s hospitality. She was incredibly friendly and kind, and we truly enjoyed the experience.

I used to go to Markham Station in Scarborough with my family a lot. I was excited to try this location since it's been years since I've been, but I was a bit let down. In terms of the food flavour, it wasn't bad and it's exactly what you'd expect from any similar breakfast chain, but there were little things that put me off like the hollandaise sauce been too thick and chunky, or the home fries had an overly processed texture, or the pancakes being too doughy. Also the butter packets they gave us were all slightly opened? Lol Apart from the food, there were fruit flies literally everywhere. We killed one then looked over and saw another 7 just chilling on the booth seating beside us. Flies kept landing on my hands after I had eaten the fruit. It was so annoying. You can see the 7 fruit flies in my photo of the wall below. On top of that, the server tried to charge us extra for items we didn't order. We only ordered the Station Benny and the Super for two of us. The receipt came with a Diet Pepsi and Coffee, which was an additional $8 on the cost. If we didn't see the receipt before paying, we would've been overcharged. Even if it's just $8, it's the principle of it. The server proceeded to act like it was an accident but even the amended receipt she came back with still had the coffee on it, albeit at $0.00. The server's name was May May according to the receipt, and when we left the restaurant and I said bye thank you to her on my way out, she was just on her phone and ignored us. Definitely do not recommend this location, and I have no idea how they're still in business.

We had a very good experience at Markham Station Restaurant yesterday. We ordered the California Benny and the Greek Benny; both were very tasty. The sauce on top was a new flavor for me, but it was enjoyable. The only issue was the noise, probably due to the holiday.
