  Since 2018, our three children have had the privilege of growing, learning, and thriving at Step by Step Montessori. As a family, we’ve spent years inside those walls—one child after another—yet every drop-off felt as comforting and meaningful as the first. Looking back, it’s clear that what Ms. Maria offers isn’t just childcare—it’s a foundation for life. Her Montessori-based approach gave our children the gift of independence. From their very first weeks, they were encouraged to choose, to try, to explore—and always with purpose. Our kids came home excited to tell us about the Winter Olympics and the countries participating. They’d recognize a piece of classical music and proudly announce the "Composer of the Month"—sometimes even asking us to play that composer in the car. They learned about caterpillars turning into butterflies by observing the full life cycle in real time. They studied cultures and traditions from around the world with openness and respect. Through it all, Ms. Maria brought structure, love, and unwavering professionalism. Every lesson, every conversation, every quiet correction carried the same message: “You are capable. You are valued.   I highly recommend Mrs Maria. Our son learned so much in just a few months. She is a very caring Teacher and very hands-on with her students. I really appreciate the monthly feedback she provides to her students. She takes the time to address each student learning needs and create a level of instruction for their individual improvement, behaviour, and the overall progress of the class, which helped create a supportive and growth-focused learning environment.

  Ms. Maria is the best teacher our children have ever had. She welcomed us with open arms in 2018 when I was pregnant with our youngest daughter. In 2025, we are finally saying goodbye after seven wonderful years of meaningful and respectful preschool and kindergarten education for our three children. Ms. Maria runs personalized classes and adapts to the needs of each child. She encourages the kids to focus on and strengthen their individual skills. The class sizes are small, with only seven kids at a time, but the learning experience is unforgettable! She covers everything from basic life skills to science, history, math, and arts. The depth of her education is truly inspiring. I would happily provide a reference and reassurance to any new family. Allowing Ms. Maria to teach your child in their early years is undoubtedly one of the best decisions a parent can make. Ms. Maria is firm yet caring, serious but also full of fun and love. She always has a word of wisdom to share regarding your child's future education. Ms. Maria, Carla (2022-2025) already misses you, just like Amalia (2018-2020) and Gabriel (2020-2022) do.   My 4 years daughter is attending this school. It has been only two weeks, but she is already learning a lot. When my family visited Mrs. Maria's house for a tour, there were two things that made us choose this school. One was that Mrs. Maria has lots of passion about teaching children in a professional way, and the other was that the atmosphere in the house was very warm and calm, which would help children focus on their own play/study. When I found this school at Google Maps at first, I thought it might not be so professional because it is in a house not some sort of a separate school building. But as I get to know this school, I realize that Mrs. Maria is running it very professionally. There is a parental portal in the website which is only accessible for parents. And Mrs. Maria held an open house before the school starts; it was so well-organized and everyone there was so friendly that my daughter already loved the place even before the school starts. Plus, there is a playground back of the school where my daughter loves to play before/after going to school. I highly appreciate there is such an amazing preschool in our community. Thank you, Mrs. Maria, being a great teacher! :)
