I was afraid i wouldnt find good optometrists in Durham i was wrong. Dr.K Sivasegaran is polite and caring she's helped me get referrals to specialists that I really needed the most. The staff are very polite and kind. I would recommend this place to family and friends definately.

While everyone in my family gets annual check ups at Whitby Vision Care, twice in the last 6 months, Whitby Vision Care has accommodated members of my family for emergency (same day) appointments with utmost care and concern. Brenda at the desk is an absolute gem, and the doctors and clinicians are excellent. I have been a patient of Dr. Schmitz for over 30 years and she has always been kind, thorough, and professional. I would highly recommend this eye clinic.

The best overall practice! My kids saw Dr.Ketha who was unbelievably patient and kind with all three of them who wear glasses. We never feel rushed and she always answers all of my questions. The front desk and dispensary staff are so sweet and helpful! Jasmine was great keeping my little one busy when it wasn't her turn. Thank you for taking such great care of us and treating us like family wvc team!

Not bad service from the optometrist , but I always feel rushed and they just pushing through customer asap just to maximize volume - understandable I guess. What gets me if that a frame that costs $70 will end up costing you ~$500 dollars here. $500 dollars excluding the eye test fee! The lens cost is one aspect but the place where it goes berserk is due to the high dispensing fee as they will explain but I advise anyone not to get their glasses from here. $500 for $70 frames, no complicated dual lenses, simple straightforward glasses cost you $500 excluding eye test.

Highly recommend for your vision care! I've been to Whitby Vision Care three times. My visits were always pleasant. Everyone was very nice. On my first visit I was seen by Dr. Jeannie Wong. The exam was very thorough. The following year I came back to buy glasses. The opticians helped me choose the glasses that best fit my needs. They also gave me plenty of wonderful eyeglass fashion advice. The glasses are customized to fit me perfectly and to rest nicely on my face. They are hands down the best pair of glasses I've ever bought. On my third visit I saw Dr. Linda Sujo. The exam was also very thorough. Dr. Sujo was very comforting and took the time to get to know me. I did some additional imaging to get a more accurate diagnosis during this visit. The technician who did my optical imaging was very kind and patient.
